Someone Is Raising A Stink!
Like most short stories,
we to have to have a hero!
Ours is SBI!
The story is fictional but our hero is not.
Our short story opens with Tom (that's me) being called in, on a special assignment.
As I walked down that long dark hall,I thought I hear my FRIEND mumbling something that sounded like "killing me".
Rushing to the door and yanking it open, making the voice inside much clearer!
Ya! it was my friend all right.
With his head down in sorrow, almost in tears, mumbling to himself "there's gotta be a SIMPLER SOLUTION?" Advertising my business cost more than I make, and I'm not getting any more customers. The expenses are "killing me"! Looking up, he saw me in the doorway, immediately he shouted out!
Tom, you gotta help!
I spoke back in a loud stern voice,
OK I WILL!
Hence the Case (and) the simple solution! I started the proses by making it perfectly clear, right off the bat.
First things First
You go get to the store and get us a case, while your gone I'll try to find your solution. i didn't tell him i already know his solution. He wouldn't of went for the Case. Back with that case all ready? Of course I was working, I found a solution, it's called "LOCATION". You see, at your present location, you are only serving a "small" group of people, your neighbors. My advise to you my friend is get a "NEW LOCATION". NO DON'T MOVE
Lets see if I can explain.
Say you are a plumber,"Super Tom's Plumbing" you work mostly around your own small town, we'll say Fernie B.C..
Now,
Lets say another plumber moves into town.
What happens?
Right, you lose customers, those customers are,"were" yourbread and butter. DO you move so you can afford the style of living your family is accustom to having.
Or, do you take up a new trade. Neither You see, just 2 hrs down that country road is a town called"Elkford".
Elkford has No plumber, he deserted his small town for the big city.
Yep! he moved to Calgary Alb.
SO,
What do these poor folks from Elkford do.hold it?
use the neighbors?
head for the bush?
I really don't think they can't do that forever. NOPE! they MUST find a plumber.
But how? Well what about the internet.
Would you look at that, there's tons of plumbers on the Net.
Now to find one close to home. THE END!
There is no use continuing this story, because Super Tom's Plumbing is not on the Net, he doesn't have a "web site" for anyone, not just his neighbors to find. Instead a company from "Elko", a small town farther away than Fernie, is investing $299us.per yr. in a SBI! web site, that with outstanding help from the forums and guides, built a web site and has gone to Elkford to put in a $3,000. septic tank. You guessed it, they found the right "Location".
The internet.
I would think that if they do good work, and come when called.
Elkford would have found a plummer. It's not long when you start hearing,
Our plummer come from Elko, 3-4 hrs down the road.
BUT! he/she will come when I called, they do excellent work and that's good enough for me.
He/she don't have to be my neighbor, just my plummer. That! my Friend, is were our HERO comes in.

"TRUE FACTS"
"Elkford" is the END OF THE ROAD.
I mean it is just that, the end of the hwy.
Only mining and fire roads are on the mountain side of Elkford.
"Elko" is a small wood-mill town about 3/4hr south of Fernie.
"Fernie" is a ski hill town, small in the summer, big in the winter. Snow ValleyP.S. although this is a fictional short stories, and Super Tom's Plumbing DOES-NOT exist to my knowledge. Site Build It! and the towns mentioned in this story are very real. "Tom" was played by;
